The best way is to give it a try ... don't cut out all your fabrics til you do a test run for it. You'll know pretty quickly as to whether you want to use it or not.

You've already received a lot of good suggestions, so I'm not sure you'd garner much new info in a new thread. Rather you'd be more likely to gather more confusion!
