I have an old (er) Baby Lock serger similar to the one you're looking at. The only difference seems to be that mine has 4 threads. I still use it and have no problems with it. In over 15 years, I've only had to have it serviced once, and that was when I hit a pin hiding in some fake fur! I've thought about a newer one, but why? This one just keeps going, going, and going!
