Thanks for the info. It would be n/c as long as I can use it; if not, she will give it to another person that would use it. She thinks it's in good working order, but apparently it is an older machine (perhaps 15=20 years old). Glad you mentioned the ease of threading as I've heard others talk about how hard they are to thread and adjust tension. I have no idea how to use a serger, but can learn from friends I guess. My friend doesn't sew and got this when cleaning out her mom's house.
