Another estate sale find
Early this morning I saw a craigslist ad for some quilt kits. The photos were intriguing so I contacted the seller. Turns out she was selling her mom's stash of quilt kits and stuff and only a very small portion was on craigslist. The daughter was not even a sewer let alone a quilter.
I got about 12 kits from a huge 92x110 inch shop hop kit to a set of pillowcase kits and a lot of inbetween sizes. I think there were 12 huge tubs full of kits, tables with books, patterns, etc. Oh, and a punchneedle kit that had the floss and the punchneedle itself inside. Another one was a Crabapple Hill pillow sham kit with way more fabric than needed and the specialty trim and beads. yahoo.
It was a lovely drive in the country with a big bonus at the end. All more than 50% off. Did not need more kits or patterns but couldn't resist. I posted a big ad for her on our guild's facebook page to help her out.
