I am glad to see you've installed a gate. The sewing room can be very dangerous for inquisitive pets. If they swallow thread it can cut or block their intestines. There are also so many sharp things to swallow and they don't know any better. Your puppy sure is cute and you are being a reponsible parent by restricting access.
