Congratulations and what a beautiful fur baby! We just rescued a lab mix puppy. If we hadn't taken her (cost $71 to cover spaying and shots) she would have been put down the next morning. She is wonderful and fits in with the other 3 very well. Now, the cat has taken a while to warm up.

Oregon Humane society has a wonderful program where dogs over 6yrs are about $85 and as another older female, my discount was $50!!!!

And so Lyla found me! She knew I needed her and I'm just so thrilled to hear a tail "whap" the floor again! I'll be forever grateful to Rebecca of burchquilts for her post! Will send a copy to the humane society.
