how to make a quilt grow????
Hi everyone. Here I am lurking again and I just know one of you lovely ladies will have an answer to my dilemma. I made a quilt for my niece's daughter 2 years ago. It is a single bed size. However with a change of house and larger rooms mum has updated to a King single and wonders if I can extend her quilt to still be useful. My first thought was to add a ruffle behind the biinding but extending down perhaps another 6 -8 inches. Do you think this would work or is there a better was, hopefully without removing the binding as my time is limited caring for an aged father. Hopefully I will enclose a photo of said quilt.
