Too obvious, that I didn't think to mention this .... I do that with my Christmas lap quilt .... I flip one of my full bed quilts over to the back, and then put the lap on top. It pretty much fits the top of the bed. I get to enjoy the lap more than if it were in the family room folded up or draped over the couch .... and if I want to "use" it, it's only a few steps away to retrieve. A perfect way to --s-t-r-e-t-c-h-- a quilt out! (and to minimize the costs for a new look!
