It is ironic that I just read this post. I bought a Paula Deen cast iron corn bread mold at a garage sale today and was looking for recipes for it. Do a Google search I found ones, but they were up to 300 calories each for cornbread sticks. This is way too much since we usually have corn bread with other items as part of a meal. Thanks for posting this site. When I get my pan seasoned and ready to go I think I will try this recipe first.
I think just reading the name Paula Dean has the ability to raise cholesterol!
But that said I have cut some of the fat from our diet by using Eggbeaters in most recipes calling for eggs. Our local chain groceries have their lower cost equivalent to the name brand Eggbeaters.
