The geese will start flying overhead soon, and the hills up north of us will be almost black with all the flocks as they begin their migration south ... with our wide open spaces, we can watch flocks come from many directions to settle into this popular grazing area.
This year, as I watch them and marvel at the constancy of seasons, I will think of your quilt and imagine it suspended over our desert monochromatic colors.
