Hi, can't help with the question regarding specific programming for your machine - but if you have an embroidery foot - you can hoop your fabric with interfacing and freehand embroider to your hearts content. I use a thermal or water soluable (sp?) plastic toper to make the pattern I want to embroider (then you are only held back by what you can't find on the internet - childrens books etc.) and you can draw with thread. I have done 2 quilts this way, and I love it. Both are in the pictures site, Nursery Rhyme rag quilt and a Dr. Suess rag quilt. You are only held back by your imagination and practice. I found painting with thread on a you tube video and then expanded to what I was interested in...hope this helps, even though it is not exactly what you were looking for. Dolly
