Wonderful work, Wendy! I love the textures you've got there. I tried this, too, last year. I bunched the fabric up into tight bundles and secured each bundle with rubber bands. I was using blue, so I got an underwater kind of look. You can almost see it on the borders of my Matisse quilt. (
