I do long arm quilting and I have done about 10 quilts for a customer that she uses fleece for the backing and also wants batting in them. They really quilt up great. I think they are a bit heavier with the batting which I don't think she really needs but she insists she wants it in there. Her family lives in Wisconsin and Colorado and she wants them to have really warm quilts. I don't have any problem loading them nor quilting them.
