If you are going to buy a Viking Diamond I WOULD not buy one from E-bay. I have one and love it but you really need someone to give your lessons on it. It is not like an old singer machine as there are different settings for different thickness of fabric you are sewing on and so worth. I use mine manly for embroidering and it just does so much. Buying it from a dealer new or used is the best thing you can do. You can now get a used Diamond for a better price as the deluxe have come out. I have the orginal diamond with the upgrade.
