I buy fabric at yard sales, thrift shops, and I have cut up old garments that still had good cotton fabric in colors I liked. I am arranging my fabrics in a trip around the world format. I am using 13 different color families and I am sure that I will repeat some of the fabrics. Others are doing their quilts in blue and white, red and white. If you don't like brown then you don't have to use it. Have fun.
