Twilling
While at Quilt Market I saw the company, Of One Mind, from Eudora, Kansas demonstrating Twilling. Not being into hand sewing, and having this old embroidery stitch catch my eye was quite a shock. I am still practicing it to get it to look great, but I'm hooked. The quilt blocks they make and other designs were truly stunning. If you aren't familiar with the stitch, I recommend checking it out. I'm not affiliated with them, but will now be a customer. If anyone has old Twilling books, I'd live to know the names of the ones you like so that I can try to find more quilt blocks to do an entire quilt and not just use some large red work designs.
