Though, I think it is one pattern that you'd definitely need the pattern!!

Your weaving strips .... are they strips sewn and turned? Or do you have a batting inside of them?
The strips are 2-1/2" by 44". You use one layer of batting (I used warm & natural), fold the strip together lengthwise with rights sides together and batting on top.Then sew one short side and down the full length of the long side and turn. By closing one short end, it is easier to turn. When assembling the strips on the bottom, use the raw edge short end. You will end up cutting off the closed short end when you trim the top.
