Glenda, some times it helps to take the tension apart and put it back together. Here is a manual with the best instructions that I know of. Some times it is the spring the thread goes through not in right. Or sometimes it is dried on goo. If you can follow a pattern you can do this. You may need to lock yourself in a room or you may need another person to read the directions as you go. You can take it apart and rebuild a tension. http://www.tfsr.org/publications/tec...achine_manual/ you will need to open the "tension mechanism" file and print out the part that applies to your machine. Follow the instructions exactly. Replace any broken parts.
