Mountain Mist is the only batting my great grandma would use. She has been gone more than 50 years so MM has been around for a very long time. I prefer Hobbs and yes, I too have a silk batting,have had it for a very long time, that I haven't used but now that I am back into quilting again am looking for the perfect pattern.
