OK, I will throw in my 2 cents LOL. My first thought was 6 1/2 is expected, BUT with a little thought I have an idea I can work with if they are smaller or larger, so I don't mind if the size if off. I could piece them as a square in a square and ta da they will all end up the same size. Sashing is another option to make them all the same size. JMHO, hope it is Ok to jump in with my thoughts. I don't know about anyone else, but I am not too fussy about the size as I don't have a project in mind final yet. I am sure that some can work around the smaller or bigger sizes, but that is not what is expected but maybe someone else can answer.
