Charlee, here is the $15 Singer I rescued last Friday(because of your enablin' .

Its serial number is 16,484,650 making it a 1899 treadle head. The decals are silvered and in bad condition. It weighs a ton. My plan is to derust it and shine it up, then put it on top of one of my high built in shelves for decoration in one of our hallways. I already have 4 or 5 treadles with cabinets, in various working conditions and don't really need another one. It was a fun adventure as it always is with my best friend, DH! We're going specialty wood shopping next week.
