An older appliqued top finished for Kay
This beautiful top had been laid aside for years before coming to life with the quilting. Kay and her daughter squared it up and tried to remove the red pencil markings used to place the applique. Once it was quilted what was left of the pencil markings did not show and Kay was thrilled with it. (I believe it was appliqued onto a bed sheet) I wish the pictures gave justice to the quilt as it is just breathtaking.
