I, too, love "Fancy Dresden Plate" patterns, tho I wouldn't want to actually try to make one. I also like that this one is on a 1930's blue (what was the blue called? I know it had a special name but I can't think of it) instead of muslin. This is just a spectacular quilt & I'm so glad it now belongs to someone who loves & respects it.
