Here is Glenn's quilt! This quilt had 21 people involved in the making! There are blocks from 10 different states, 3 countries, Canada, England and the US. The blocks were made mostly using vintage machines, even treadles. I quilted all the blocks using my Singer 15-88 treadle! The background on each block I put on with my FW when I was out at a Girls Night out and using my 319w in treadle when at home. The sashings were made and put on the quilt using my 1976 Pfaff 1222e with its walking IDT foot! The binding was also done with the Pfaff 1222e in the same fashion that I put the sashing on! The quilt is a Quilt As You Go technique with each block completed/quilted individually then connected together with sashings front and back! It was a joint effort by 21 different people to thank our own Glenn/Skipper for being so generous with his knowledge of refurbishing cabinets and cleaning up the shellac finish on the old machines!
