Don't say that today. I just bought a machine on ebay 30 minutes ago - no, not the Dressmaker. I can't handle boat anchors easily. My only other ebay purchase arrived in perfect condition. On the other hand, I recently purchased a foot (for the machine, not me) from a QB member who only put it in an envelope and it arrived smashed. Now I'm going to worry for the next few days.
I do have a pretty
turquoise one, though not as elaborate as the Dressmaker. My Universal is in a cabinet so it's easier for me to deal with though I'm not sure my GD was impressed when the plug shorted out as she went to plug it in. With + or - 70 year old wiring, it's a wonder it doesn't happen more often.
