If you are going to be a long arm quilter designing the quilting needs to be your favorite part. Even though I enjoy piecing as well as quilting for clients, before I even start the top I am thinking about how I will quilt it. I am computerized with Intelliquilter. One of my favorite things to do is browse digital designs on my iPad and imagine the types of quilts they would look good on. If none of these things are true for you then you did the right thing for you and made someone else happy at the same time. You made your decision, now free yourself from second guessing and go enjoy whatever you like most about quilting.
