Thanks gals, Vaseline or the Naso Gel sound like good ideas to relieve the dryness and to help keep it from coming back. Will do that right away while I'm thinking about it.
I've been using the saline spray but don't want to rely on it too much, also I'm going to change to distilled water spray as too much saline spray may cause problems.

We do have a full house humidifier that we use in the winter and a window one for room that isn't connected to our main heating system. I was surprised that CVS and other drug stores didn't have small humidifiers, might be as somone suggest it may be a seasonal thing.

Will follow up with Dr. as I need to know if this is a cold or allergies and what to do about it/them, especially since we plan to fly to CA this summer to visit family.
