Figure up the total cost for the quilt for your hairdresser. then barter with your hairdresser. Example: $500 fr the quilt.....she charges $100 per cut & color....then she trades five free appts for the quilt! She'll back Down real quick.

There was an article I read in regard to why the hairdresser charges so much. A good pair of scissors can cost $800.00!!! Nt to forget station rental costs, supplies, the required yearly addional training, licences, etc. it is a business and like all businesses, the behind the scenes csts add up.
