Not really, but then I've been an editor and proofreader several times over the years, taught ESL when I lived overseas, worked as a reporter, etc. My ex was in the Navy and when I got his first letter I sent it back with all his spelling and grammer corrected - he should have know then, right? I can be a noodge but have learned to not return letters with corrections anymore. I'm sure it will catch up with me at some time, but so far I haven't had that problem. Lots of other problems, but spelling and grammar are still intact. For today, anyway.
I remember one of the kids bringing a note from her teacher. It was terrible as far as grammer and spelling. My dh corrected it and signed it as requested and returned it to the teacher. I don't think we heard back from her for quite a while.
