Nancy, there is an internal, metal, camstack of the stitches I posted. It doesn't take external cams. Thanks grayhare, I'll try hairspray on ink if I ever have any. This was a set in, marker. Probably a sharpie. Like it had been on the machine for years and had absorbed into it. I tried the alcohol on the bottom in a hidden area first. Then used it on the marker area. It took some gentle rubbing but it slowly faded. Tomorrow in the daylight, I'm sure I'll still see faint markings, but it's much better. Who in the world would write a price on a machine like that in magic marker??? I have to say, I think I've seen Good Will do that.
