Default an antique silk crazy quilt i inherited

these are pictures of an all silk antique crazy quilt that i inherited from my grandmother on my father's side. the fabrics are satins and velvets, and silk grosgrain ribbon that was used to wrap gentlemen's cigars just after the american revolution. the yellow golden rod was embroidered using the turkey stitch, and it , too, is done in silk. the crochet trim/lace is also silk, and the quilt is backed in maroon silk. there seems to be nothing more than a muslin filling for batting.
you may also recognise jacquard, brocade and bombazine. the dark yellow strip in the first picture is a piece of grosgrain that i mentioned previously. enjoy the visual feast! it's sooo much more sumptuous in person!
