Just wanted to update this post. We went on our Alaskan cruise and had a great time. We visited Ketchikan and went on a rain forest adventure excursion. Then on to Juneau where we took a double decker catamaran through Tracy Arm Fjord to see the Sawyer Glacier. On to Skagway where we took the White Pass Scenic Train. Next stop was Sitka where we went on a Sea Otter and Wildlife Adventure on another double decker catamaran. Last day we cruised by the Hubbard Glacier...so beautiful...magestic!

The ship was great. It is a small ship; 490 passengers max. It never felt crowded, never a long line, and the service was incredible. The food was very good which is high praise from me because I am a foodie and love to cook. The weather was great too. We saw orcas, humpback whales, sea otters, bald eagles, puffins, black bears, grizzly bear family (mom, dad, two cubs), and moose.

Alaska really is beautiful....such a great trip.

P.s. Skagway had a great quilt shop. The quilt shop in Sitka was pricey.
