make children's quilts and don't worry about it being poly/cotton unless someone else doesn't like them.
The wear like iron cloth, wash up beautifully and snuggle comfortably.....
I have an old directions where the checked poly/cotton was made with just two layers of fabri with batting, edge finished in prairie points, and then turned and tied. It's almost a one day quilt and oh so comfortable and usable
I even published one in a magazine many years ago
