You can print a realistic photo using your computer printer (as msbRON suggested. You can do patchwork to make a photo like Tammy Bowser does. You can make your photo into applique like Charlotte WarAnderson. You can print with cyanotype fabric (my favorite technique - I have some examples in my two cyanotype albums). You can make the photo into thread paintings (just learned to do this fun technique, two examples in my Cut Work Others album).
