I have done lots of chicken scratch on gingham, a number of gingham quilts , my favorite is a pleat and tuck baby quilt, using the 1 " gingham. ( 1 " gingham is SO hard to find... and when I do it is usually red.. which is a nice color.. but I love more variety.)
This is a similar to my pin and tuck quilt. But use the 1 " gingham
