I know all about taking time off from quilting/sewing out of necessity due to career demands, and it may take you some time to "carve out" your quilting time in your new home. I take it you now have a sewing room, but are still getting organized. Give it time. It sounds as if you are in fact "hungry" to get back to quilting, and no where will you find more encouragement and support for that "hunger" than right here on this Quilting Board. We're a great bunch of people, very helpful and supportive, and eager to support other quilters. So welcome, welcome, welcome to our group. We sincerely hope you give us a chance, and even if you're short on quilting time, come to the Board and read the posts, jump in when you can, and you'll find yourself surprised by how those simple acts feed your quilting desires. It certainly did for me, and as I have read, has done the same for others. Don't you know? We're magical!
