Does anyone have a treadle cabinet from the Free Company? I have a set of treadle irons that once had an Elgin or a Free in it. I currently have a Singer top on them. My question is there supposed to be a belt shifter on it somewhere?
I bruised my thumb pretty good last night trying to get the belt back on after oiling the bottom of my Singer 66-1 red eye.
I finally figured out that the belt had to come apart to go back on. What a PITA!
