My Dad probably did too. . . I just remember as a kid proudly thinking that "the whole world" celebrated MY DAD's birthday and, after getting our treats, we'd proudly inform the giver, "and it's our Dad's birthday too!" They'd give us another to give to him. It always embarrassed him, but boy were we proud! I've told him, imagine how we would have been if you'd been born on the 4th of July! All those fireworks!
