Actually I hope it isn't born on Halloween. Our grandson is and every year his birthday is interrupted by trick or treaters- and he gets upset by it. Especially when he got older and didn't go out himself. Then it just became a nuisance. But as my grandma would say, "when the fruit is ripe, it will fall" when talking about expectant babies. Isn't that funny?
My Dad probably did too. . . I just remember as a kid proudly thinking that "the whole world" celebrated MY DAD's birthday and, after getting our treats, we'd proudly inform the giver, "and it's our Dad's birthday too!" They'd give us another to give to him. It always embarrassed him, but boy were we proud! I've told him, imagine how we would have been if you'd been born on the 4th of July! All those fireworks!
