I make only scrap quilts because 3 or 5 fabrics bore me to tears.I mix batiks with what ever and because I like many fabrics I buy a yard of what I like and just play with color light dark and medium are planned .Phonz and Porter have a great book on scrap quilts from simple to complex I have started one called lotsa potsa flowers and completed a Jacobs ladder in the book and there is another one that is all batiks I will make .
