When I do a whole bird I usually cook it in a clay pot but I'm going to try the crockpot. We're going to have days of more extremely hot weather. Just hope I keep my electric. So many are without since storms rolled through again last night and they're calling for more this afternooin. The crockpots work so good when it's hot.
