Up until recently, I have always used warm & natural - and still have some to use. I don't mind it - it's what you get used to using. But, I had to use a real light weight batting and the quilt store recommended the Quilter's Dream Request - and OMG!!! it is wonderful!!
I don't like poly batting because my needle falls thru it (LOL!!) I want my batting to have a bit of a "bite" so that i can get my needle to go where i want. BTW - i only handquilt.
I also like cotton batting because when i wash it, it shrinks up and looks vintagey...
