I love your ideas! I have thought about doing something similar, but I have 40 first cousins and at our annual reunion, there are always a few missing and I'd like ALL of the names on the quilt! But, by giving it away, it makes a memory of that actual year and who attended. Wonderful and thoughtful. I selfishly wanted it for myself!
