Betsey,

All of Hobbs manufacturing is made in the US, according to the representative at the lecture. The headquarters are in Waco, Texas, where they have 2 production facilities. My understanding from the lecture is that they buy as much of their raw materials, such as cotton, from US growers as they can, but they also buy raw materials from sources outside of the US, especially wool. They do not outsource production.

Here is their website for more information: http://www.hobbsbatting.com/

Here is a quote from their website: "Hobbs Bonded Fibers is a genuine Texas-born product, so we have partnered with the Texas Department of Agriculture to become an official GO TEXAN product." See http://www.gotexan.org/ for information about that program.

I am not connected in any way with Hobbs, but am always eager to support U.S. industries, and in particular, Texas industries.
