Hi there! I am from Menominee, Mi, which is about an hour north of Green Bay. (Go Pack!) Welcome aboard!

Sounds like you have your hands full with all those kids- good for you for finding something that you can do for YOU! If you didn't quilt, all that fabric would make you look crazy, huh? LOL! (I have a closet full, too. I sneak it in the house while DH is at work.)

Have you been able to take a class or two at your local quilt store? I did that and learned a lot.

I have quilted almost all my life, but I didn't do it "right" until I started taking classes and reading books. I used to flip the back over to the front for my binding- and you know what? It worked. I still use those quilts and they keep me warm! (I am referring to your other thread.)

So anyway, I second the person who said to look on You Tube for a tutorial for the binding. There are a lot of them for machine quilting, too.
