At this point ya can top stitch, buttonhole stitch, or any decorative stitch ya have. I chose satin stitch. Not such a good idea through all o' that thickness! I should have top stitched.

(If this was somethin' important, instead of just a pot holder, I would've gone back over the satin stitch ta make it smoother & more consistent.
