I like the way you made this potholder. I can see how this would look terrific also using a QAYG block quilt. Making the front and the back of each block. Can this technique only be used with satin stitch or is the same effect achieved using the blanket or other design stitch?? Thank you so much for taking the time to show step by step how you used the glue to tack everything in place? I had wondered about this technique. Spray basting smaller pieces for applique always seemed so messy. I can see where this would be a better way to tack down smaller applique pieces that are two awkward for pinning or such. Great Job.
