I have a Kenmore that I b ought for about $200 6 yrs ago. Still works great. Doesn't have a lot of extra stitches, but enough for what I need. I don't even look at the Singer anymore. At one time they were the best you could get, but now they are all plastic and from what I see on here, not the best to get.
