Default UFO By quilted cupcakes

I came across this and even shared with my DH. What i found amazing is that it describes me with why i struggle with completing my UFo
[h=3]Conquering UFOs[/h]My UFO tips:
1. Take stock - pull them all out, do an inventory .... here it is the final countdown of 15

2. Think about why it's in the UFO pile -

where you stuck? did you just lose interest? i've lost interest in 1 design struggle with

Did you decide you didn't like the technique?

Was it too hard at the time? Maybe your skills have improved.

Did something else catch your attention? >>>>>MY Adult ADD is horrible, this is why i only work in 4 hours shifts at work aka splits...lol

Were you on a deadline, and had to finish something else?
3. Decide which you really still want to finish, put in one pile
4. Decide what to do with the remaining projects
donate to a project collecting for a charity (many times, have a long arm quilter who'll finish)
donate as-is to Goodwill or other thrift store - someone else may love it
5. Make a plan for finishing what you want - some things that have worked for me:
Sampler quilt with blocks you've started
Make the project, and donate to a charity
Finish them as gifts for others
Promise yourself to try a new technique as you finish the project
Swap UFOs with a friend
Take the UFO to your next crafty get-together.
6. Don't stress over your UFOs - enjoy the journey, the process. If they bother you, deal with them. If they don't, just let them collect.
