til Christmas!!!
I had great plans to be ahead of the Christmas sewing. Partly because oldest DD's family and myself are going to Disney World the first part of December.
But MIL had a minor heart problem and was put in the hospital. She also has a bad shoulder, that she was hoping to have repaired (that is on hold for now). I have been with her for three weeks, helping out. With her two problems (not to mention she has decided that she might be better off in a assisted living home. That means the family needs to help her clean out her home that she has lived in for 59 years.
On the bright side
so far we have unearthed 2 quilt tops (made by her grandmother), 1 well used Dresden quilt (from step-mothers side of the family) and still to find (she believes, a hand pieced double wedding ring).
