Default Restored Vintage 66 Singer

Some time back I posted that we were restoring my MIL's 66 Treadle. We finally got it all cleaned as best we could despite the fact that we ruined some of the decals using the wrong products and put it back together. Yesterday I sat down to see if I remembered how to treadle and would you believe, I didn't miss a beat when I started to sew. I was able to do it right on the first try and it is so, so much fun. I don't believe I would ever try to quilt on it but I am sure going to try my hand at pieceing. I am going to fix up a small sandwich and see how it would work but it doesn't have a walking foot and I think that would be a problem with keeping the layers together. At any rate, I am so, so happy and am having so, so much fun. If you haven't gotten a treadle yet, you simply don't know what you are missing. Below are pictures of before and after.
